Mollies are fish from coastal streams and inlets around Mexico, often bred into interesting shapes and colours, particularly with black, speckled, and golden varieties.
Generally quite a hardy fish; requires at least a 25L tank, ideally with some salt added.
Mollies are peaceful fish, and care should be taken when housed with more aggressive species.
They have a reputation for nipping the fins of longer-finned fishes.
Mollies aren't too greedy and will get by on a flake or two of food per day.
